Attention Students:
There will be a photo call for One Act directors and the Improv Troupe today, April 25th,
right after school in the GP room.
Attention All Juniors:
Any junior who is interested in doing morning announcements next year, as a senior, please see Dean Passarella in Room 327 as soon as possible. No experience necessary!
Attention Seniors:
Would you like to be a speaker at graduation? All interested seniors should stop in the Main Office to sign up for the auditions.
Auditions will be on Tuesday, May 22nd at 2:45PM in the Choral Room – Room 306.
Attention Seniors:
Seniors it’s time to let the Guidance Office know where you plan to attend college!
An email was sent with an attached Final Transcript form. Please check your email or come to the Guidance Office to pick up the orange form and complete it.
Attention Students:
To celebrate the 60th Anniversary of National Library Week, South High Library is holding the Thirteenth Annual Homeroom Literary Trivia Contest starting today.
Each day during the week, the library will send out five trivia questions to each homeroom. At the end of homeroom the questions will be collected and scored. The homeroom with the most correct answers at the end of the week will be awarded breakfast compliments of the library.
This April remember Libraries Lead!

The One Acts are coming up!! Theatre South’s annual senior-directed One Act Festival will be performed over two weeks – Thursday, May 3rd and Friday, May 4th AND Thursday, May 10th and Friday, May 11th. All performances begin at 7:30PM.
Come and see some familiar faces and some you might be surprised to see on stage. Buy your tickets one of 3 ways: online at www.theatresouthtickets.com; from Mr. Marr, or from a student ticket seller. Advance tickets for South High students are $5.
Attention Students:
Yesterday afternoon the Boys Track and Field team defeated Jericho in their fourth league meet of the season. Juniors Nick Langel and James Kessler continued their dominating seasons with double victories in both their hurdle and throwing events. Senior Andy La took 2nd in the mile in 4 minutes 53 seconds and took 2nd in the two-mile, while senior Lucas Cowen won the 800 meters. Marco Coluccio and Kareem Allen-Austin each broke the elusive one minute mark in the quarter mile.

The air is getting warmer but the talent is much hotter…it must be time for COFFEE HOUSE! Theatre South’s Spring Coffee House is this Friday, April 27th at 7:30PM in the GP Room. Admission is $5 at the door and includes refreshments.
Sign up on the TS board if you are interested in performing – This informal night includes
acting, dancing, singing, comedy, improv, spoken word, and more!
